On Tuesday, September 7, 2021, the Palau Chamber of Commerce held a three-hour long training session on the core principles of Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills for the five representatives of the Republic of Palau who will be flying out to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to attend the World EXPO 2020 from September 2021 to March 2022. The group of young Palau ambassadors to the World Expo 2020 are wonderful young entrepreneurs and tourism representatives: (1) Beckwin Mechol, Jr., (2) Jae-Dee Itab Ngirdimau, (3) Olilai Chilton, (4) Ashea Rafael and (5) Eimmaimellei Fritz.
The training was conducted by Mr. Peter Bonini, Palau Pacific Resort’s Director of Human Resources, who is one of the11-Members of the Board of Directors of the Palau Chamber of Commerce.
With many years of experience in this field, Mr. Bonini was able to engage the five young Palau representatives and the group had a very satisfactory session.
The training venue was provided by Palau Pacific Resort; the snacks by Best Coffee & Donut House and L’Amarena Gelato Shop.
Much appreciation goes to Ms. Jada Avesani, Administrative Assistant of the Palau Chamber of Commerce, for her diligence with the administrative tasks related to the Training.
MHRCTD Minister Ngiraibelas Tmetuchl, PVA Managing Director Kadoi Ruluked and PCOC President Irene Olkeriil also attended the session as Observers. The PCOC would like to express its gratitude to Minister Tmetuchl for attending and endorsing the importance of Customer Service Training in Palau.
Furthermore, the Palau Chamber of Commerce wishes a safe journey and a once in a lifetime experience to the five young people who agreed to be part of the team of young ambassadors to represent the Republic of Palau and its business community at the World EXPO 2020 in Dubai.
